About

Mckenzie Harper founded Queen Ken after spending 15 years in corporate fashion and technology.

Mckenzie began her career at Victoria’s Secret and Jil Sander while attending Wharton, working in marketing strategy and selling & allocation. Intrigued by the idea of building technology to help businesses solve million dollar problems, Mckenzie moved to a predictive analytics firm that worked with 8 of the top 10 US apparel retailers and airlines, banks, telecoms, retailers, and membership focused businesses worldwide. The firm was bought by Mastercard in 2015.

Through her experience at Mastercard and venture backed unicorns, Mckenzie learned the art of branding, storytelling, and building technology to scale. As she discovered the transformative power of hairstylists, makeup artists, nail artists, barbers, and photographers working on the most exciting projects in fashion, Mckenzie sought to bring this talent to brands and private clients to expand and preserve the artistry of bespoke services.

Since founding Queen Ken, Mckenzie and her team have worked with leading providers around the world to serve clients from New York to Los Angeles, Milan, and Paris. The luxury booking platform, open by invitation, enables high profile brands and individuals to book in home and on site services. Mckenzie’s experience includes producing shows for beauty teams at Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, and Zimmermann, celebrity styling, and shoots for Harper’s Bazaar and the Met Gala.
